Overview

The hut has been in the family for 11 years. In the past four years, it has had a new roof, new steps and bannister, outside and inside paint and a new side wall. It has a handy corner, storage bench underneath which games, tools or catering supplies can be kept!
The area of beach in front of the hut allows well behaved dogs at all times through the year and there is an area of beach just up from the hut that is always sandy, even at high tide!
It is in The Leas, which is the last stretch of Frinton beach before Walton. It tends to be quieter up this end.
The annual site fee is £764 which I pay quarterly ( 4 x £191.20 ).
A £10 annual membership to the Frinton Beach Hut Association ensures your hut is checked upon daily by the beach patrollers and any irregularities reported to you immediately.

All furniture is included in the sale.

The children are grown up now and  are ready for new adventures but the time in this hut has  created many, lovely memories and been enjoyed immensely.

Arrival information & directions

Address: Front, 56 The Leas, Frinton-on-Sea, Essex, Frinton-on-SeaUnited Kingdom

  1.    On reaching Frinton, turn right (or straight over/left depending on direction of travel) at the mini roundabout and over the railway line.
  2.    Turn left, almost immediately, down Pole Barn Lane.
  3.     Drive right to the end where there will be a T junction.
  4.    Turn left. *
  5.    Carry on straight, you will pass a big, silver gate on your right.
  6.    To your right will be a rough, stony area of ground called ‘The Leas’. If possible, park here.
  7.     Looking out to sea, to your left will be a shelter/seating and next to this a flight of steps. Go down these uneven (!) steps, then a slope.       You will pass a water tap on your left. This is the nearest tap to the beach hut. At the bottom of the steps/slope, turn left and keep going!

           The beach hut is No.56.

  1.    If you look right when looking to the sea, you will see the silver gate and from here runs a downward slope, taking you to the promenade.     When you reach the bottom of the slope, the toilet block will be in front of you. Turn left here and keep walking until you find no.56.
