This was our first experience of hiring a beach hut and 100% would do it again. It makes a day at the beach so much easier - especially with kids and a dog. Loved that there was a little gas stove so we could have bacon rolls and tea/coffee during the day. It was also nice to have some shelter when the great British summer decided to rain on us. The hut was very well equipped and had everything and more than you could need for a day at the beach. We will definitely be hiring again.

We rent tickled pink. It was spot on. Everything you need (bar enough gas for the hob, not major just couldn't have the home time cuppa lol) Absolutely loved it. It was my partners bday she loved it to and all the family and friends that came over to join us. We will come back again.

We have been coming to Wells for a few years now but have never rented a hut. It really made our stay! So nice not to have to bring items like buckets, spades and chairs. And lovely to have a kettle to drink tea all day. Lovely to have a base and Tickled Pink was spot on

NinaS

Absolutely perfect. Everything you need in one spot, we got to have a cup of tea in the morning & we were able to enjoy a bottle of wine late afternoon thanks to the bottle opener. We will definitely book again x

Fab little beach hut, had everything we needed for a lovely day at the beach! Hut was easily accessible and everything listed that was available was there. Would definitely rent again!

A brilliant day despite the weather, it was a birthday treat for mum and she had a wonderful day as did we all. Great service, great value for money Highly recommended

We enjoy the flexibility of booking single days at the beach, and Tickled Pink is ideally located on the Beach at Wells for a pleasant stay. Thank you

Very good with plenty of pots, coffee, tea, milk etc. A little tired and needed a bit of paint but on the whole it was fine. Celia Crane

Arrival information & directions

Address: On the beach!, Wells-next-the-Sea, Norfolk, Wells BeachUnited Kingdom

The hut is located roughly in the middle of the row of huts, approximately a 10-15 minutes walk from the car park.

The code for the key safe box will be texted and emailed to you at 08.30 am on the day of your arrival. The key safe is on the right hand side of the hut ( or a back up safe on the leg underneath but this is stiff and needs replacing)

Your options for parking are to:

  1. use the beach car park (pay and display).  Get there early, before 10am on busy days, as the car park does fill up (otherwise you will be directed to the overspill car park on freeman street).  The hut is nearest the far end of the car park (furthest from the Cafe).  Then walk up the wooden steps over the dunes and through the pine trees, down the other side, turn left, and no.110 is about 200 yards ahead.  About 10 minutes walk from the car park.  Or if you don't want steps you can park at the cafe end and walk around, which might take 15-20 minutes in total.
  2. park in Wells town and walk down- 1 mile from the quay to the beach carpark. or in season there is an open top bus that's runs from the football pitch to the beach car park.

Remember to bring:

- a tea towel for washing up.

- a bag for taking your rubbish with you.

- water for drinking and washing up from 1st October to 30th March (the taps at hut 41and 138  are turned off in the winter but the tap in the car park is left working).
