Sophia's Sun Hut, Southcliff

The hut is lovely, in a great location, very near a cafe and the pier. There’s plenty of seating inside and a few spades etc for the beach. Our only minor complaint is there’s no stove for heating water for drinks (which all other huts we’ve previously rented have had) which would have been good to know in advance. However, its proximity to the cafe meant we could buy tea and coffee easily. It’s good value for the price though, especially as it’s close to anything you might need or want.

My partner and i just decided to get away and have some time together. Took a picnic, spread a blanket on the floor and brought our books. Listening to the sea, beautiful view, couldn't have asked for more. It is basic, but thats what we expected and wanted. Absolutely perfect.

We had such a lovely sunny day at this beach hut, which was in an excellent location near May’s cafe and toilets, and was also a really private spot overlooking the beach. The hut itself is lovely and great communication from the owner. We will definitely book again, thank you 😊

A nice beach hut in an elevated position with a lovely view over the sea. Ideally located near the cafe for drinks and ice creams and a short walk from the fish and chip shop. Great value for money for a day at the beach whatever the weather.

The hut itself was lovely and great value for money. There was no kettle though and a couple more plastic glasses or beakers would have been useful. We had a great day

Lovely clean beach hut with plenty of seating inside however not much room out the front of the beach hut. But would definitely use again.

Lovely beach hut near the pier, short walk to the toilets, and great sandy beach at the bottom of the steps.
