'Seahorse Hideaway' - Beach Hut 45 is a short 50 metres from the holiday park barrier. Parking is right behind the hut and free. There's all you'll need for a day out on West Mersea Beach - x4 comfortable reclining chairs for the deck. x2 windbreaks - Seating and a picnic table inside and x6 folding chairs that can be used on the beach. There's a camping gas cooker with kettle for tea or coffee plus pans etc should you wish to cook - although the seaview cafe just 100m away does some excellent fish and chips amongst many other things. The water tap is just behind beach hut 42 a few metres away - water carrier provided. Please note If you are going to swim you will need your own towels. The beach is a popular location for windsurfing, kitesurfing and kayaking so feel free to bring beach toys too. Buckets and spades plus a few other games all in the hut. The Sandbank bar restaurant and toilets is just a 100m away and there is a shop selling most things from ice cream to gifts and provisions next to the seaview cafe. The beach and the beach hut are dog friendly all year round.
