The specially built decking around the hut and wider design offers accessiblity for wheelchair users and those with limited mobility. It's situated within easy reach of new changing places facilities toilets, local cafes and bars, food kiosks and the newly developed seafront which offers a range of facilities and activities. Nearby there's adventure golf, miniature railway, river walk and Mewsbrook Park. Littlehampton beach offers a long sandy beach and lifeguard observed areas for swimming in season. There is also a range of water sports offered nearby and a land train that runs along the Promenade. There are various car parks within a short distance of the hut and water taps along the Promenade.
