Excellent beach-front position close to Durley Chine and 15 minutes walk from the town center of Bournemouth. With views of the Isle of Wight and Studland, this hut is directly on the promenade at one of the widest and quietest parts of the beach close to the town. The hut is situated on a Blue Flag lifeguarded beach. It is close to ice cream kiosks, a beach shop, beach restaurants, a Harvester pub (refurbished December 2019) and 500m to the Pirate Playpark at Alum Chine. There is also a drinking water tap only 10m from the hut. Showers and toilets are just 200m away at Durley Chine. There are two upright chairs, four recliners, a table, a tumbler and wine glasses (plastic), crockery, and cutlery for six people – as well as body boards and buckets, and spades. Also included is a gas cylinder (+spare) and double ring/grill camping stove with a kettle. A purpose-built windbreak fits on either side of the hut and a sun umbrella is also available. The hut is a short level distance (200m) from disabled parking bays.
Please note - if the shackle on the padlock (the curved bit) gets pushed down in a non-locking position you have to turn it 180 degrees from the correct position in order to raise it back up. Also I would really appeciate it if you could make sure that the gas is turned off at the blue bottle else it leaks over time.
