Great little spot, far enough away from the chaos and close enough to enjoy it all. Great views and super relaxing away from bustle. Inside the hut, it could do with a little TLC, maybe paint or some thing to bring it up to standard. The deck outside might need some more hooks to allow you to reposition parasol around the deck, especially on hot sunny days. The locks and Handles were difficult to open & shut, may need lubricants like WD40. Overall good experience & would visit again.

Great communications and we had a wonderful day. The location is great and the patio is wonderful. Nice selection of teas, coffees, etc. Cushions very appreciated. The inside of the hut was a bit rough and ready. Cups needed a good scrub. The parasol was too flimsy. We managed to tie it down to stop it blowing away but then it just turned inside out. Need two really to give enough shade for 4 people. But those couple of things aside,we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Thank you.

Hut was lovely and in a great position overlooking the beach. The decking area was larger than most of the huts around. The toilets were a short distance away. There was complimentary tea, milk, sugar, salt, vinegar, ketchup and some biscuits which were welcomed. The hut also had buckets and spades which was great as I had forgotten to Pack my little ones buckets and spades. A lovely day was had by all. Thank you and we will return in the future.

We had a wonderful day in Walton on the Naze. We hired beach hut Bramleys which was beautifully equipped with everything we needed plus more - tea, coffee, milk, sugar and various sauces. There was also lots of games for my grandchildren to use, and Andrew- owner - gave clear directions and instructions. I highly recommend this beach hut.

Lovely Hut and a lovely day. Only issue was the nearest toilets had been vandalised. So it was a good 10min walk back to the pier for the next nearest toilets. Maybe this needs to be mentioned until fixed. No fault attached to hut owners. We had a great time.

Well stocked hut for families. Only criticism was that the ignition wasn’t working on the stove which meant there was not the access to heat that we’d expected.

Hut could be cleaner. Cobwebs above stove. Cushions need a good wash. Overall, though, great .we have used this hut before and will use it again

I have contacted the owner of the hut directly.

Arrival information & directions

Address: Bramley D109, Southcliff, Walton on the Naze, Essex, SouthcliffUnited Kingdom

The nearest car park is the train station car park on Church Road. CO14 8DH. Turn right out of the car park on to The Parade. Take the next right on to Woodberry Way. Then the next left on to Southcliff, then you’ll be able to see the beach and all the beach huts. There are 2 ways to reach Bramley. Option 1 uses the main staircase, across the promenade, and back up. Option 2 goes behind the huts and down a slope rather than stairs.

  • Option 1: Go down the main steps towards the promenade. Turn right once at the bottom and walk along the promenade for approximately 300m and you should see beach huts numbered roughly 112-108. Once here, take the set of steps up to the 4th row of huts and you’ll be able to spot Bramley.
  • Option 2: Go past the main staircase and follow the path until the end, then turn left down the slope towards the huts. Turn right on the right hand corner and you’ll be on row D. Follow this path along until you reach Bramley – D109.

In addition to this, if any of your party have mobility issues, you can use Southview Drive as a drop-off point. This brings you out at the top off the slope to the beach huts.
