Overview

This lovely vintage style decorated beach hut is located at the quiet end of beautiful Sandbanks Beach. It is on the upper floor with a private balcony, overlooking the Purbecks, and Old Harry Rocks.

There is a 10-minute walk to the Sandbanks chain ferry along the beach or road that runs alongside the car park, which takes you to the very picturesque Shell Bay beach where there is a lovely walk or just to relax and sunbathe.

It is within walking distance of a great family restaurant, chip shop and Rick Steins seafood restaurant, as well as toilets and a crazy golf area.

The hut is doggy friendly so please feel free to bring your pooch too as there is an all-year-round dog walking beach two minutes walk from the hut.

 A very pretty and quiet spot on a fantastic beach for a week, weekend or a day out with the family.

Wonderful stay at this beautiful, well kept hut. It caters well for a family or couple and has terrific amenities. The balcony catches the sun* all day, making it fantastic for taking "breaks" from the beach. We'll be back! *when it decides to shine

Facilities information

The hut has various items for use for a family of 4 in the beach hut which includes two chairs, two reclining chairs, two tables, two-foot rest/side tables and a beach picnic blanket. Also a two-ring camping stove with grill and grill pan, gas canister, kettle, pots, pans and utensils. For water, there is a tap attached to the back of the block. 

 There is a kitchen unit and cupboard above which holds mugs, plates, bowls, cutlery, glasses, a chopping board, cling film and foil, kitchen roll and tea and coffee. There are a rubbish bin and bin liners, washing up bowl, and cleaning products. A dog bowl is provided. There is no electricity in the hut.

There are tea and coffee provided just bring sugar and milk as required and disposable plates, cups and cutlery are also provided.

The hut is situated just off the main car park in Sandbanks opposite Rick Steins restaurant. It's a short walk from the car park and is the last block of huts at the end of the prom. It's a two-sided block with a sandy square in front. It is on the top row and has access via stairs on both sides of the block. Come early in the summer months as the car park fills up quickly. Unfortunately there is no wheelchair access.
