Jabba the Hut (No. 58) is a charming beachfront beach hut on Pakefield Beach, offering stunning sea views and everything you need for the perfect family day out in Lowestoft.
Fully equipped for comfort and convenience, the hut includes a worktop, camping stove, tea and coffee making facilities, plus all necessary crockery and utensils. Inside, you’ll find a cosy day bed with plenty of cushions, ideal for relaxing with a book, along with throws and blankets for cooler days. Outside, guests can enjoy deck chairs, small tables, and even a bodyboard if you fancy a dip in the sea.
The hut also comes with access to private toilet facilities and a water tap. The toilets are located just to the left of the hut in two tall green and cream-painted blocks.
Key collection is via a secure key safe located on Wellington Esplanade near Claremont Pier. Please note this is approximately a 5-minute drive or a 30-minute walk from the hut, with parking available nearby.
Pakefield Beach is dog-friendly and features a mix of sand dunes, marram grass, and pebbles leading to the sea. A short walk brings you to Claremont Pier or South Pier, where you’ll find shops, restaurants, and traditional seaside ice cream parlours. Lowestoft town centre is around a 40-minute walk away.

Lead booker must be over 21
Please leave the hut clean and tidy and use the nearby bins
Ensure the hut is securely locked at the end of your visit
Return the key to the key safe after use
Charges:
Lost key: replacement cost + any missed bookings
Key not returned: £50 + any missed bookings
Hut left unlocked: £150 fine
