The Peach Hut is one of few with a double aspect overlooking both the harbour and the sea. You can both have breakfast on the sand overlooking the sea and relax on the veranda at the end of the day as the sun sets over Christchurch harbour.
The hut comfortably sleeps 5 people; downstairs there is a double pull out bed and upstairs there are 3 mattresses. Bedding will be provided for the downstairs bed but ask that you bring sleeping bags/bedding for the upstairs mattresses.
It is ideal for a family with children or a couple. A well-behaved pet is allowed, but no smokers or groups looking to party and stay up late.
The hut has a well-equipped kitchen with a hob, grill, oven, and a full-size fridge/freezer. There is a stowaway dining table for use inside, and outside there is a picnic table. There is a solar power circuit with 12v lights and USB charging points for phones etc.
During the peak school holidays, the hut is available from Sunday late afternoon until the following Friday afternoon, as the owners like to use the hut at weekends. Occasionally the hut may be available to rent for the weekend but they will likely not know until nearer the time.
In June, July & September the hut is only available to book for a minimum of 4 nights/days. If, closer to the time the hut is still available it may be possible to rent for shorter stays (minimum 2 nights/days) but please only enquire about short stays if your dates are within the next couple of weeks.
