Book this iconic dog-friendly Southwold beach hut with glazed doors and a veranda from where you can enjoy the sunshine and sea views. The hut is situated on the promenade immediately next to the famous award-winning Southwold Pier building. The hut is at the end of an exclusive, unique, quiet row with less foot flow of just 7 beach huts.
Inside the wooden beach hut is cheerfully decorated in a quintessential English seaside theme, a cosy tiny home away from home, somewhere to spend quality time by the sea, swimming, picnicking, snuggling up with a book, watching the world go by, taking in the rays, big blue skies, the sound of the sea's soothing waves, or simply to take shelter from the sun or the wind.

The hut is equipped with

- Dog bowls, parking hook on the front of the hut, treats and waste bags

Approximately 10 small concrete steps down to the sandy beach are located at the side/front of the hut. There is also a wide concrete ramp to the beach. Please note there are now metal safety railings fitted at the front of the hut area on the promenade, therefore no longer a sheer drop down to the beach. This is not shown in the photographs.

A 10-minute walk along the promenade or the adjacent path will take you to the centre of Southwold's popular unspoilt seaside town with its bustling high-street independent shops, delis, bakeries, butcher, mini supermarkets, pubs, wine bar, cafes, restaurants, art galleries, museums, lighthouse and Adnams Brewery.
Dogs are always welcome in the hut and on the promenade; however, due to local council rules not allowed on the section of the beach immediately in front of the huts from April to October. However, dogs are allowed all year round on the beach north and south of where the huts end, approximately a 10-minute walk. There is also a lovely dog walk behind the huts and beyond the car park, over the marshes.
