Book an iconic brightly painted striped charming beach hut with glazed doors and a veranda from where you can enjoy the sunshine and sea views. The hut is situated on the promenade immediately next to the famous award-winning Southwold Pier building. The hut is on the end of an exclusive unique quiet row of just 7 beach huts constructed in 2014.
Inside the wooden beach hut is cheerfully decorated in a quintessential English seaside theme, a cosy tiny home away from home, somewhere to snuggle up with a book, watch the world go by, take in the rays, big blue skies, the north sea soothing waves, or simply to take shelter from the sun or the wind.
The hut is fully equipped for up to 6 persons with everything for a perfect day out at the seaside including :
- Tables and chairs
- Deck chairs
- Buckets and spades, beach toys and windbreak
- Two-ring gas cooker with kettle, pans, teapot, and cafeteria along with complimentary hot drinks
- Crockery and cutlery
- Dog bowls and treats
There are 10 small concrete steps down to the sandy beach located at the side/front of the hut. There is also a wide concrete ramp to the beach. The hut is situated a stone's throw from lots of amenities including
- The pier includes cafe, takeaway including fish and chips, a restaurant, retail and amusements
- Pitch and putt cafe and takeaway
- Ice creams
- Crazy golf
- A boating lake and traditional tea rooms
- Car Park
- Toilet block
- Children's playground

A 10-minute walk along the promenade or along the adjacent path will take you to the centre of the iconic seaside town of Southwold with its bustling high-street shop's, pubs and restaurants.
Dogs are most welcome in the hut and on the promenade however not on the section of the beach immediately in front of the hut from April to October. However, dogs are allowed all year round on the beach north and south of where the huts end. There is a lovely dog walk behind the huts and car park over the marshes.
