One of the newer huts, with UVPC doors. 47B is located on the ground floor, slightly raised from the beach accessed by a ramp or five steps, at the quieter end of Branksome Chine.
There is seating area outside the hut and a view of the Purbecks, Old Harry, Sandbanks one way and Hengisbury Head and the Needles to the South.
The hut is situated between Canford Cliffs and Branksome Chine with it's large sandy beach, car park, off road parking nearby, toilet block ( with disabled facility) near to hut, ice cream kiosk nearby and tap for drinking water, washing. The huts have a disabled ramp / ramp for pushchairs up to their front doors. The sea access is very good, with golden sand all the way into the water.
The hut contains:
- Gravity sunbed / sunchairs x 2
- Assorted smaller chairs x 3
- Folding tables x 3
- Sun parasols x 2
- Windbreak
- Crockery, cutlery, beach hut themed mugs, plastic beakers, wine glasses x 3, pans, new calor gas small stove with refill, one burner
- Beach bat and balls
PARKING
The hut is well situated as there is free parking at the top of the nearby zig zag in Martello Road or a short walk from flat free alternative parking at Lakeside Road, Buccleuch Road. There are two car parks nearby, Branksome Chine and Beach Road car park.
EATING & DRINKING
There is a large restaurant / cafe called Rockwater nearby at Branksome Chine, if you walk towards Branksome Dene there is a pub with good food called the Inn on the Park and the other way, towards Canford Cliffs are a number of shops, take away food, Tesco Express and two pubs ( half an hour walk)
