Overview

This is a family-owned beach hut that both children and grown-ups will love. It has everything you need for a relaxing day by the seaside and the interior is to die for as it is influenced by Cath Kidston. It is situated on the widest part of the promenade on the front row so whatever the tide is doing there is always plenty of room for a table and chairs plus it is situated near the lifeguard area. The beach hut is also dog friendly and has a dog/baby gate. It can be accessed easily by wheelchairs, or pushchairs and is not far from the main toilets. It is within very easy walking distance to the main shopping area of Frinton where you can buy delicious ice cream, bring back takeaway coffee, have lunch/tea out, or a little further away (but still within walking distance) get really good fish and chips. There are 6 chairs and a table outside with a bench and a table inside.

The hire fee is payable directly to the hut owner – they will contact you within 48 hours of booking to arrange payment.

The hut was in a great location, plenty of outdoor space and very close to the beach. Easily accessible from the main toilet block and high street, close to the water tap. The hut itself was very clean and well stocked with tea/coffee/sugar, Plenty of buckets and spades, balls, bats, books (all hidden under the bench seating). Key collection and drop off was very easy. We ordered from the local chip shop (pier 9) and they delivered it to the hut for us. We had a lovely time and will recommend!

We return every year to celebrate my birthday with my lifelong girlfriends and each year we have a ball!! The Pepperpot is cosy, clean and perfectly practical fir five ageing ladies to enjoy numerous cups of tea, several glasses of wine, our picnics and change with privacy to partake in our annual beach whaling event. There is ample crockery and glasses and even a thoughtful small pot of 20ps for the toilet that although up the hill which I sware has got steeper is a blessing .

The Pepper Pot is as fine a beach hut as you can find. We had a marvellous day with cups of tea and swimming in the sea. Conveniently situated at the bottom of the slope leading from street level The Pepper Pot, with its distinctive blue and white wave decor is a few steps away from the fresh water tap and drain making washing up and filling the kettle easy. Clean and comfortable and well equipped for a beach hut. Highly recommended.
