A different experience from being directly on the promenade, a place to relax during these stressful times.
There is an outside table and chairs which can be placed on the decking. Tea or a glass of your favourite tipple on the deck!! There is a beach cafe nearby which sells hot food, ice creams etc. Free parking above the hut in Woodberry Way or parking in the Railway Station car park or the nearby town car park. 2/3 minutes walk from the hut.
Two much-loved beach huts, “WILLOW BEACH” and "VITAMIN SEA" both are on the front row, at Eastcliff, Walton on The Naze (near a water tap and loos.) Maximum 8 people per hut and that includes children. Perfect for a relaxing day at the seaside. "WILLOW BEACH" is an older style 50's hut, full of character with a touch of Cath Kidson. "VITAMIN SEA" is a newly refurbished 70's hut, open plan and decorated in fresh seaside colours.
Both huts are fully equipped with a gas cooker, sink, pots and pans, crockery, cutlery, mugs and glasses. Beach games, windbreak and parasol. Deck chairs and small plastic chairs for children. There is a long padded bench in each hut with cushions and a dining table with two extra chairs. A well-behaved dog is welcome but must be on a lead during the Summer months. A short distance further down the beach, dogs can run free. Parking is free at Eastcliff in Cliff Parade situated just above the huts, 2 minute walk. There is the option of steps or a slopey path down to the hut.
The beach below both huts is the perfect place to hunt for fossils and shark teeth. Find out more by visiting the Conservation Centre, just a 10-minute walk away. The Willows Caravan park and Naze Marine Caravan are about a 10-minute walk away. Both Willowbeach and Vitamin Sea are equal distances between Hipkin's Cafe and The Last Fisherman Cafe.
